IV Vitamin C

Common scenarios in which we see benefit with high dose Vitamin C

  • Chronic fatigue associated with infections, cancer and autoimmune conditions
  • Post-surgical recovery and wound healing
  • Toxin overload and free radical damage relief
  • Pain syndromes can benefit by reducing inflammation
  • Stubborn infections
  • May protect against high blood pressure, strokes and cardiovascular disease

Why vitamin C?

Unlike most mammals, humans cannot synthesize Vitamin C, and therefore must obtain it from food or supplementation.

IV Vitamin C in higher doses than the Myers cocktail has direct anti-microbial (infection-fighting) properties, anti-neoplastic activity, can improve immune function, provide an energy boost, enhance skin and wound healing, reduce pain, support seasonal allergies or asthma, recovery from surgery, other inflammatory diseases, and more. Linus Pauling Institute citation →
The doses commonly used in our office for supporting cancer patients and those being treated for chronic infections such as Epstein Barr, Lyme and co-infections or high toxic burdens are often in the range of 35 - 100 grams (35,000 - 100,000 mg) of IV Vitamin C.  Doses of this magnitude cannot be accomplished orally.

Doses above 12.5 grams require a normal G6PD blood test before administration.
